Bert Buri
Cabinet Maker

Born in Switzerland and apprenticed to a master cabinetmaker, Bert gained experience in several enterprises there. Now based in Henfield, Sussex, he makes a range of domestic furniture. Using only locally grown hardwoods, Bert works mainly to commission but equally enjoys the freedom of speculative work for exhibitions and shows.
