Kumihimo (Japanese Silk Braiding)

Christina is one of the few hand-weavers in Britain specialising in Kumihimo. Her chosen field in this art is the creation of unique silk braided jewellery embellished with gold, silver and fine hardwoods. Along with full length braids; obi-jime for tying formal kimono or for Western usage as belts or ties. Also braids for interior design and Samurai sword restoration.
