Eve Claire Taylor
Jeweller/Silvermith
Formations within nature are an endless and abundant source of inspiration for Eve's work - hand-raised silver bowls, ladles and spoons, alongside silver jewellery. She uses semi-precious stones to contrast surface decoration, which is also etched or enamelled to vary the colours. Inspiration taken from the magnificent palm houses set in the grounds of Kew Gardens contributes to many of her designs. Recent inspiration for her jewellery range has evolved from more 'urban' aspects of plant life that 'creep' through the concrete into towns and survive very much in the city. Eve's main aim is to create hand-crafted pieces that evoke feelings of quality and beauty.
