James Mursell
Windsor chair maker

James Mursell makes a wide range of fine Windsor chairs using locally grown hardwoods. Great emphasis is put on creating elegant chairs that are both attractive and functional. In addition to making chairs to commission, James runs 5-day Windsor chair making courses at his home workshop. He teaches several times a year at West Dean College and writes regularly for national woodworking magazines.
