John's unique ceramic forms have their roots in processes used by early civilisations but take pride of place in many modern homes. The decorative effects are created using the 'naked raku' process – 'Painting with Smoke'. This 'clay-art' work is burnished by hand to give a smooth, marble-like finish and is not suitable for functional or outdoor use.
