Clean, flowing lines and an economy of design elements characterise the work of Jon and Valerie Hill. Using the supremely malleable properties of 18ct gold they cold-forge the metal to create subtle changes of shape. Gemstones have always been at the heart of their work and in recent years the astounding colours and patterns of matrix and boulder opals have inspired many of their designs.
