CRAFTS IN ACTION AT THE GRANGE

10.00am to 5.00pm

The Sussex Guild Shop in Lewes will be holding a celebration weekend of crafts for all the family on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July.

There will be live craft demonstrations out on the lawn of Southover Gardens including wood turning, dressing ceramic torsos, stained glass and hand painting ceramics. In the upstairs Events Room there will be "taster" craft workshop sessions such as making & decorating ceramic jewellery & buttons, etching pewter coasters, making & decorating small books with machine embroidery, hand painting tiles, silk painting and appliqué quilt making. Other demonstrations will include decorative aspects used to enhance furniture & woodwork, other woodworking techniques & jewellery making. There will also be the opportunity to meet and talk to the individual makers from the Guild Shop & Gallery to learn about their individual crafts.

Throughout the weekend visitors will have the opportunity to enter a free July Raffle to win one of the beautiful craft pieces made by a Shop Member. So do please come and join in the fun at this special event being held on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free.
